DC Dock Shelters Offer Better Environmental Control

When Maple Leaf Farms can enhance food safety and sustainability through investments, then we hit a home run. In 2018, the Distribution Center purchased five new dock shelters for better environmental control.
The company installed the Rite-Hite® Eclipse® Dock Shelters, which are designed to obscure daylight and effectively seal gaps on sides, corners and tops of trailers with a single piece of equipment. This helps keep the dock at an optimal temperature and humidity and protects Maple Leaf Farms products from environmental hazards.
