Duck Cheesesteaks

With delicious provolone melted over top the savory grilled duck breast on the grill, top this dish with some Cheese Whiz for its final touches and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil

  • 1 Large Sweet Onion, Dice

  • 6 Slices Provolone

  • 4 Hoagie Rolls

  • Cheese Whiz for Garnish

  • Salt to Taste

Directions

    Partially defrost duck breast. Slice duck breast into thin sliced pieces with a knife or a deli slicer.

    In a large cast iron skillet or griddle on medium heat, sauté onions for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat.

    Add the thinly sliced duck breast pieces to the griddle. Cook until browned for 5-10 minutes.

    Salt the duck breast pieces then toss with the onions. Place provolone on top

    Once provolone melts mix into duck and onion mixture.

    Divide mixture into 4. Place hoagie roll on top of each mixture section and flip with a large spatula into the sandwich.

  • 7

    Top with cheese wiz to your liking. Serve immediately.
