Duck Fat Fried Mozzarella

Ingredients

3-4 Cups Duck Fat

16 oz. Mozzarella Cheese

3/4 Cup Flour

2 Eggs
-
1 tsp. Garlic Salt

¼ Cup Milk

1 ½ Cups Panko Breadcrumbs

2 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning

½ Cup Marinara
-
Sea Salt to Taste

Fresh Parsley for Garnish

Cut mozzarella into 12 sticks or wedges.

Place flour in a bowl.

In another bowl, whisk eggs with milk and garlic salt.

In a third bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning.

Dip each mozzarella piece in the flour, then egg mix, then panko mix.

Freeze mozzarella pieces for 10-20 minutes.

Place Duck Fat in medium saucepan and heat to 360 degrees.

Fry each mozzarella piece in the duck fat for 1-2 minutes or until crispy brown. Fry in batches.
