Duck Noodle Soup

8 Cups Water

1 Tbsp. Ginger, sliced

2 cloves Garlic, minced

½ tsp. 5 Spice Seasoning

½ tsp. White Pepper

1 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. Sesame Oil

1 Tbsp. Rice Wine

1 Tbsp. Soy Sauce

1 Pack Egg Noodles

Bok Choy for garnish

Scallions, sliced for garnish

Hot Chili sauce for garnish

In a large pot, add roast half duck and cover with water. Add ginger, garlic, five spice, white pepper, salt, sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, and soy sauce. Bring to a boil then lower to simmer for 1 hour.

Remove roast half duck and let cool. Slice breast and shred leg meat.

Bring broth to a boil and cook egg noodles. Remove noodles and divide into serving bowls. Bring broth back to a simmer. Optional: Blanch Bok choy garnish in broth for several minutes.

To serving bowls evenly divide duck, egg noodles, boy choy, scallions, and chili sauce. Pour broth over bowls and serve immediate.
