Instant Pot Duck
Short on time? Try Duck in the Instant Pot! In less an hour you can create a juicy and tender whole duck with delicious sides. We recommend serving with sweet potatoes, parsnips, brussels sprouts, carrots, pearl onions or scallions. Take this dish to the next level with a side of gravy!
Ingredients

1 5 lb. Whole Duck

2 Tbsp. Salt

1 tsp. Black Pepper

1 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika

4 Sprigs Thyme, Leaves stripped

2 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced

2 Sweet Potatoes, Chopped

8 oz. Brussel sprouts, Halved

1/2 Cup Pearl Onions

Remove giblets and pat duck dry. Mix salt, pepper, paprika, thyme leaves, and garlic then rub inside and outside of duck with the mixture.

Place rubbed duck, breast side up, into vessel on a grate and add a 1/2 cup water. Close lid and press poultry button and set timer for 35 minutes.

After 35 minutes are up, add sweet potatoes, brussels, pearl onions or any other veggies you'd like on top and cook under pressure for 3 more minutes. Remove vegetables from pot, cover and set aside.

Remove duck carefully, place under broiler for 5-10 minutes or until skin darkens and crispy.
