Tailgate Duck Chili

Chili for the chilly weather! Add all of the delicious flavors or classic chili, and wonderfully prepared Ground Duck to this dish for happy heart’s and full belly’s!

Ingredients

  • 24 oz. Ground Duck

  • 1 tsp. Olive Oil

  • 1 Sweet Onion, Diced

  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced

  • 2 Tbsp. Chili Powder

  • 1 Tbsp. Cumin

  • ΒΌ tsp. Cayenne Pepper

  • 1 tsp. Salt

  • 1 Cup Tomato Sauce

  • 1 Cup Chicken or Beef Broth

  • 1 Can Diced Tomatoes, Drained

  • 1 Can Red Kidney Beans, Drained

  • Corn Chips for Serving

  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese for Serving

  • Green Onions, Thinly sliced for Serving

Directions

    Preheat a large stock pot to medium-high heat.

    Add ground duck, onions, and garlic and brown for 5-10 minutes.

    Pour in broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, cayenne, and salt. Stir and cover.

    Reduce to low heat at simmer for 45 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    Add beans to the mixture and cook for 15 more minutes.

  • 6

    Divide chili into bowls and top with as much cheddar cheese, corn chips and green onions as you would like.
