Duck Fat Chips
Every potato is better fried in Duck Fat! Thinly slice potatoes and fry in pure duck fat for a delicious snack, appetizer, or side. Dust your crispy Duck Fat chips with flaky salt or toss in your favorite seasoning.

Ingredients

3 Cups Duck Fat

3 Lbs. Russet Potatoes

1 tsp. Sea Salt
Directions

Thinly slice potatoes on a mandolin or in 1/8” slices.

Soak potato slices in a large bowl of water with ice cubes for 30 minutes.

Rinse potatoes and dry off on both sides on each slice with a cloth.

Heat duck fat in a large skillet or Dutch oven until it reaches 350 degrees F.

Fry potato slices in oil for 10-15 minutes. Remove with slotted spoon.

Toss with salt and serve.
Looking for a healthier option?
Oven Bake: After rinsing your potato slices in step 3, toss them in 2 Tbsp. of Duck Fat with the salt and bake at 450 for 20 minutes.
Air-Fry: After rinsing your potato slices in step 3, toss in 2 Tbsp. of Duck Fat with the salt and air fry at 425 for 15 minutes.
