Duck Spaghetti & Meatballs.

Ingredients

12 oz. Ground Duck

1/3 Cup Sweet Onion, Diced

1 Tbsp. Garlic, Minced

1 tsp. Olive Oil

¾ Cup Panko

½ Cup Grated Parmesan

¼ tsp. Salt
-
¼ tsp Pepper
-
3 tsp. Oregano
-
1 tsp. Dried Basil
-
½ tsp. Cayenne Pepper

¼ tsp. Ground Chipotle Pepper

1 Egg, Lightly Beaten

2 Cups Tomato Sauce

16 oz. Spaghetti Noodles, Cooked.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

Heat olive oil in saucepan on medium heat. Sauté onions & garlic for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl, combine Ground Duck cooked onions, cooked garlic, panko, ¼ cup parmesan, salt, pepper, 2 tsp. oregano, cayenne pepper, chipotle pepper, and egg.

Roll duck mixture into 1" meatballs and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake meatballs in the oven for 25 minutes.

Using the same pan you cooked the onions and garlic in, heat up tomato sauce with 1 tsp oregano and dried basil. Keep on a low simmer until the duck meatballs are ready.

Toss meatballs in sauce. Top pasta with several spoons of sauce, 4-5 duck meatballs, remaining parmesan, and fresh basil leaves.
