Smoked Duck Baked Beans
Make an easy, crowd-pleasing dish for your next summer barbecue by elevating your baked beans with Roast Duck on top! Simply sauté Roast Half Duck with onions and garlic then add to a pan with beans, savory sauces, molasses, sugar, and vinegar. Mix, smoke low and slow then serve!

1 Roast Half Duck, Defrosted

2 Cans Pinto Beans

1 Tbsp. Olive Oil

1 Onion, Diced

4 Cloves Garlic, Minced

½ Cup Brown Sugar

¼ Cup Molasses

¼ Cup Cider Vinegar

¼ Cup Ketchup

½ Cup BBQ Sauce

2 Tbsp. Dijon Mustard

2 Tbsp. Worcestershire

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

Preheat smoker to 250 degrees F and add in wood chips/pellets.

Shred Roast Half Duck . On medium- high heat sauté Roast Half Duck and onions for 4 minutes. Add Garlic and cook for one more minute.

In an aluminum pan or large cast iron skillet, add beans, brown sugar, molasses, vinegar, ketchup, BBQ sauce, Dijon, Worcestershire, salt and pepper and stir together. Top with Roast Half Duck , Onions, and garlic mixture.

Place in smoked, uncovered and smoke for 3 hours.

Garnish with greens like scallions or parsley if you'd like and serve.
