Position: Food Production Lead - 3rd
Location: Milford, IN
Position Duties:
- Monitor and lead production processes and procedures, ensuring that the production schedule is met
- Retrieves materials for production and packaging operations
- Respond to the need of production operation
- Monitors production operation for product quality and process procedure; corrects and reports to the Team Leader any inconsistencies
- Fill in on the production line as needed
- In absence of Supervisor provides back-up
- Assists in, and monitors pre and/or post operational activities
- Assists in the collection and processing of material usage, performance and inventory information
- Assists in the training and development of new and current employees
- Performs other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of production equipment, operational processes, production standard operational procedures, quality specifications, HACCP, and GMP’s
- Demonstrated communication skills, bilingual in English & Burmese would be helpful
- Ability to direct production staff
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems on the production line
- Ability to read and understand technical information, work orders, and labels
